Posts
So I guess if I had any fans by now they would realize that in my past 4 posts I included a picture or a photograph of things I find interesting. Well I don't really know what I am going to post today since I just don't have that many ideas. However in Digital Darkroom class today we did discuss how, in the future everything will be known about a person by simply scanning a chip that was inserted from birth in their bodies. My class (mostly made up of Generation Ys) made it clear that we would not have the government looking over our shoulders through use of technology. So we are in the process of devising a plan in order to keep our bodies chip free. I find it interesting that my generation would be against putting something so foreign in our bodies when most of us have at least one tattoo. Oh well, enough of that.

Favorite Website
My favorite website is Etsy.com. This site is filled with handmade unique things ranging from jewelry to infant clothing. I love the wall decals that look like trees, it would look really good when I hopefully move out soon. :) One thing I love to look at is camera items such as necklaces and rings, and other handmade camera things....

Wedding Photography
I have always been fascinated by weddings. I have dreamed of how my wedding since I was a little child playing with Barbies. The beginning of the movie The Wedding Planner with Jennifer Lopez showed a little girl having a wedding with her barbies. I identified so much with this scene. After that, I thought I was going to be a wedding planner, but then photography came into my life. This past year, I have realized that weddings are something I want to be a part of, and photography allows the artist to be a fly on the wall. At this point in my life, what I want is a 20s themed wedding at Savage Mill. I love rustic things and Savage Mill captures that.
I really enjoy capturing old, rustic images. But just imagine this scene with a woman in her wedding dress and her new husband in his tux. It would be gorgeous.

My Favorite Adventure
One year after Christmas, my family and I went to Vermont. It was...cold to say the least, but I think I got some cool pictures. (Yes, I did actually take these)
We were able to walk along a frozen pond that was outside of where we were staying. It was so beautiful to see and the ice moaned as we walked on it.

First entry? First Blogging?
I found this picture on odditycentral.com, its a weird website that has a bunch of...sort of..."Ripley's Believe it or not" junk on there. Its quite interesting actually. As a photography major, I enjoyed this creation of a camera out of cardboard. I thought it was a different way of making something that is mechanical out of something that is somewhat "organic" (not really but still).
